Yesterday I visited the VRA in Wagga Wagga, for the commissioning of their brand new, light rigid quick-response vehicle.

Minister for Police and Emergency Services David Elliot, and VRA Commissioner Mick Gibson were on hand, as we got a close up look at what this impressive vehicle can do.
The vehicle has four wheel drive capacity and is fully equipped with the latest to assist rescuers especially in freeing people trapped in vehicles.

As this week is Volunteers Week I want to give another big shout out to all of the volunteers who do so much to keep our communities safe, and to help when we are in danger.
