I joined the Minister for Police and Emergency Services David Elliot yesterday for the opening of the Community Action Team Flood Supplies Cache at North Wagga Wagga.

The cache and the community action team will be of great benefit to the community in the event of mild to moderate flooding.

Fantastic to note that this all came about because of a phone call from passionate community advocate Laurie Blowes, who was looking for sandbags last summer. Six months later, we have a start of the supply cache with 3000 sandbags and equipment and concrete areas for delivery of sand.
