Yesterday I attended a smoking ceremony at the METKA-EGN solar farm, at Bomen, performed by Mark Saddler, a proud Wiradjuri man.
The welcome to country was performed by Uncle James Ingram.
METKA was fined $1500 for destroying Indigenous artifacts at the Bomen site last year.
It is good to see that, since then, the company has worked proactively and engaged with the Indigenous community.
