Historical societies, museums and libraries are critical in uncovering and understanding the history of our regions and communities.

Yesterday, a $5000 grant was awarded to the Wagga Wagga & District Historical Society Inc. for the Wagga Wagga Rate and Valuation Books Digitisation Project.

This grant will assist in preserving the history of our region, by digitising a selection rates and valuation books from 1870-1949.
