Some fantastic scenes from the finale of the 130km Emu Plume Trek ceremony over the weekend.
Over the last week, the Light Horse has travelled from Narrandera to Wagga Wagga - via Grong Grong, Matong, Ganmain, Marrar and Downside - to raise funds and awareness for the statute, the be erected in Wagga Wagga to honour the Light Horse.
The model shows the proposed statue, which will be erected as a life-size, bronze tribute to the Light Horse in the Wagga Wagga’s Victory Memorial Gardens.
The two riders pictured are Deb Cheney and Mick Davies of the Riverina Light Horse, on horses Gun and Trumby.
