STROKE FOUNDATION LUNCH AT PARLIAMENT HOUSE

At Parliament House for lunch hosted by the Stroke Foundation, with the Hon. Heidi Victoria, the Stroke Foundation's government relations advisor, former Victoria politician and stroke survivor.

Today we celebrated the progress made in preventing stroke, saving lives and enhancing recovery in Australia for more than 25 years, as well as hearing about the Foundation's plans for the future.

The Stroke Foundation have an easy acronym to help us all remember the signs of stroke to look out for:

👉 F: Face, is it drooping?

👉 A: Arms, can you lift them both?

👉 S: Speech, is it slurred?

👉 T: Time, is critical! Call 000.

Knowing these signs and acting FAST could potentially save a life.
