The Kapooka Army Band add something magical to each event they take part in, and I believe you’d be hard pressed to find a Wagga Wagga citizen who didn’t enjoy the sound of the big band!

Over the weekend, the Kapooka Army Band were given Wagga’s highest honour, Freedom of the City.

Residents will be able to view one of two official copies of the notice of freedom, which will be on display at Wagga Wagga City Council.

Taking a look at the notice with myself, Mayor Dallas Tout and Member for Riverina Michael McCormack are Lieutenant Colonel Glenn Rogers and Major Greg Peterson.

Congratulations to all personnel who have contributed to the incredible accomplishments of the Kapooka Army Band over many years.
