Yet another milestone birthday for a local school this weekend. Congratulations to Sturt Public School on 50 years!

It was a wonderful atmosphere led by principal Terri Inglis, and school captains Asha Forrell and Houston Zhang.

Former principal Jeff Amos gave a very interesting and informative speech, and Ms Linda Wood and Brian Kirton, current members of staff, gave a very interesting reflection on their time at the school.

I particularly enjoyed hearing the choir, who were stunning, as well as a brilliant marimba performance.
