It was wonderful to attend the Wagga Australian Sri Lankan Cultural Association's 10 year anniversary celebration last weekend.

Pictured with me cutting the cake are Dr Yapa Bandara, President of the association, and her Excellency, Chithrangene Wagiswara, the Sri Lankan High Commissioner, and Wagga Wagga Deputy Mayor, Councillor Amelia Parkins.

It was a fantastic celebration of dance, drama and costume, along with the awarding of certificates for students attending the Sinhala School.
