This morning I attended the 70th anniversary commemoration of the end of the Korean War, held at the Victory Memorial Gardens here in Wagga Wagga.

It was wonderful, as always, to speak about and reflect on the day with veterans, including Mr Maskell Burke, who attended his first Korean War Commemoration today.

Sadly, we missed Mr Alan Evans a well known Wagga Wagga Korean War veteran who passed away earlier this year. Alan’s wife Nancye was present, and it was lovely to speak with her.
