Earlier this week I attended the unveiling of a new sculpture at Batlow, as part of the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail.
“Eden” by New Zealand artist Phil Price is a kinetic carbon fibre sculpture of a giant apple tree with precision bearings, that moves in the wind.
Phil’s work is a breathtaking addition to the trail, perfectly summing up the theme of the region’s recovery from the fires – and yet another great reason for people to visit the amazing collection of beautiful sculptures along the route.
