NATIONAL APOLOGY DAY CEREMONY: WAGGA WAGGA

It was a privilege to speak at the National Apology Day commemoration yesterday.

We have a long way to go on our journey of righting the wrongs of the past, and the day is an important reminder of the work to be done.

There were some wonderful presentations from Uncle Hewitt, Luke Wighton, students from Red Hill Public and Mount Austin High Schools, with the Welcome to Country from Aunty Cheryl, and a performance from Shining Stars dance group.
