The future is in good hands, judging by the amazing efforts of the young people attending the NSW Parliament Bicentenary Roadshow’s public speaking contest in Wagga today.
All entrants did a terrific job and as one of the judges, I can say it was a very hard choice to pick the winners.
In a remarkable field, John Curtis and Celine Chandrasegeran from St Mary Mackillop College were worthy runners-up and the winner was Karin Rezkalla from The Riverina Anglican College.
Congratulations to all who took part.
The roadshow, which is commemorating 200 years of parliament in NSW, continues with a youth forum tonight and community workshops tomorrow.
Thanks to everyone who has helped to make the roadshow a success.
