Music can be so powerful, moving and transformative, especially when played by remarkable musicians such as Elly Zhu, pictured here.

It was a pleasure to welcome the Hon. Ben Franklin, President of the Legislative Council of the New South Wales Parliament, to the Riverina Conservatorium of music today.

The magnificent grand piano pictured here was approved for funding by Mr Franklin when he was the Arts Minister, and he was delighted to be able to be here in Wagga to see it in action.

Elly performed magnificently, and allowed us to appreciate just how good the piano is!
