What a delight it was to meet the parents and children at today’s Vinnies Multicultural Playgroup in Wagga.

The group brings together families from countries as diverse as India, Burma, Afghanistan, Iraq and the Solomon Islands for play, companionship and support.

It’s an opportunity to help newcomers improve their English and make friends – and best of all, the kids have great fun playing together.

Thank you to Ana, Lincoln, Shannon and the Vinnies team for welcoming me to this amazing celebration of culture, friendship and integration.
