red-letter day for the future of housing in Wagga

Today was a red-letter day for the future of housing in Wagga, with the finishing touches being added to 12 new social homes for 19 people in North Parade, opposite the Duke of Kent Oval.

Unveiled by Housing Minister Rose Jackson, the mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom units are modern, energy-efficient homes being delivered alongside the Tolland Renewal Project, which will provide hundreds of new social and affordable homes to the community.

My thanks to the minister for her passionate support of these Wagga Wagga renewal projects, which end a long drought in social housing provision in Wagga.

Builders ICG have done an incredible job on the new units in North Parade, with more to come in nearby Spring Street.

Congratulations to everyone involved in delivering this project for our city’s future.
