Wonderful to celebrate with the Girl Guides the 100th anniversary of World Thinking Day.

It was great to be there with Guides Anna Dickinson, Melissa Smith, Kara Rennick and Ros Steel, alongside Clr Georgie Davies, Deputy Mayor.

Congratulations to the Twin Rivers region. We welcomed Guides from Hay to Tumut and almost everywhere in between.

On World Thinking Day, Guides and Scouts pause to remember one another and the communities they serve. This year’s theme, “Our Friendship”, was reflected in the spirit of the day at the Riverside Precinct, where members and supporters took part in fun and challenging activities.

It is a real credit to these young people and to the many volunteers and leaders who have supported the movement for so many years.
