It was a pleasure to attend the recent Rotary awards and see so many outstanding members of our community recognised.

Congratulations to Noeline Hogan, Poppy Vandermark, Qasm Shamo Sleman, Ann Ryan, Donna O’Grady and Sarah Smith on their well-deserved honours. Congratulations also to Ariba Omar, who received the Wagga City Council award.

I also want to acknowledge the organisations recognised on the night – Riding for the Disabled, U3A Wagga, Specialist Medical Resources, Riverina Summer School for Strings and Triple A FM.

Thank you to all our Rotary Clubs for hosting such a thoughtful and inspiring event. It was a strong reminder of the quiet dedication and service that keeps our community thriving.
