I was honoured today to announce Ann Adams OAM of Gumly Gumly as the recipient of the 2026 Wagga Wagga Woman of the Year, as part of NSW Women’s Week.
Ann’s award recognises her amazing contribution to the community through her work with the Country Women’s Association.
She’s been a CWA member for 59 years, holding various positions within Oura CWA, the Riverina CWA Group, and the State branch. She was instrumental in delivering the State CWA Conference in Wagga Wagga in 2025, described as one of the best State Conferences.
The CWA is one of our greatest institutions and Ann’s contribution to the health, welfare and growth of country communities is truly remarkable.
Congratulations, Ann, and thank you for doing so much for our community over many decades of dedication and commitment.
