STUDENT LEADERS VISIT PARLIAMENT

What a pleasure it was today to meet the leaders of the future when students from Kooringal High School , Mount Austin High School , Tumut High School, Tumut, New South Wales and Wagga Wagga High School Official visited parliament for the annual Secondary Student Leadership Program.

The program recognises the leadership role of students and provides them with the opportunity to meet their elected representatives and to develop their knowledge of constitutional and parliamentary processes.

The students heard from Members and Parliamentary Officers, viewed proceedings from the public galleries, and visited Government House to meet with Her Excellency, the Governor, Margaret Beazley.

Judging by the quality questions and insightful observations of the visitors, it’s clear our future is in very good hands!

Thank you to all students and staff for taking the time to visit us.
