Recognising John Neyland's contributions to Adelong

Congratulations to Adelong's John Neyland, who I had the pleasure of presenting a NSW Community Service Award!

Mr Neyland has been president of various community groups, including Apex, Adelong Batlow Bears RLFC, Adelong Showground Trust, Adelong Pastoral and Agricultural Society, Adelong S and C Club and Adelong RFS.

Most recently, after an accident led to him giving up work, Mr Neyland has volunteered at Snowy Valleys Council when he can, undertaking general garden maintenance within the Adelong cemetery and the surrounding community.

John has a proud history of community service. His efforts over many years have made a real difference to Adelong.
