Batlow Senior Citizens Village

A grant of more than $32,000 will allow for some much-needed improvements at the Batlow Senior Citizens Village.

Independent Member for Wagga Wagga, Dr Joe McGirr, said the $32,133 from the 2021 Community Building Partnership Fund would be used to install insulation to the floors of seven units built in the 1980s.

It will also cover the cost of a shade sail between two units

Dr McGirr, recently visited the Senior Citizens Village and was able to hear about the upgrade.

“I am pleased that this grant will be able to help what is such an important part of the local community,” he said.
