Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Tracy Delaney at the new public school in Estella, and taking a tour through the school to see the progress on construction.
Tracey has been appointed as principal of the school, which is on track to be ready for day one of term one in 2021.
The school will be able to accommodate up to 480 students from kindergarten to year six, and features 16 flexible learning spaces, a library, hall, canteen, staff and administration areas, and a covered outdoor learning area.
I was very impressed with the layout of the school - which has been designed to reflect the path of the Murrumbidgee River - as well as the progress on construction.
