In another wonderful advancement for the Wagga Wagga Agricultural Institute today, the NSW Department of Primary Industries Advanced Gene Technology Centre was opened, which will work the development of cutting-edge genetic technologies for primary producers.

Research coming out of the facility will make plants and livestock more resilient to drought, frost and salinity, and more resistant to pests and disease.
