Seeds of cropping studies start to sprout with opening of new research station

Today, a new $1.5 million research facility at the NSW Department of Primary Industries Wagga Wagga Agricultural Institute was opened.

The project will allow the fantastic work that is already being done in Wagga to be consolidated into a single, multi-purpose facility, with power infrastructure and access roads upgraded, new prep rooms, bulk sample storage facilities and cool rooms also anticipated to triple the processing and efficiency of pasture and cropping research.
