Yesterday I attended the annual meeting of the United Hospital Auxiliaries for the Riverina region at Club Tumut.

It was wonderful to see a real enthusiasm and camaraderie, as well as some fantastic presentations as part of the event.

The United Hospitals Auxiliary have raised more than $4 million in the past year, with the Riverina Region itself raising more than $685,000 from more than 30,000 hours of volunteer work.

What a phenomenal example of community spirit and commitment!
