Extension of Lockhart’s Woodhaven Aged Care Home

It was a great pleasure to celebrate the extension of Lockhart’s Woodhaven Aged Care Home with a proud community today.

It’s clear that Woodhaven has a wonderful warm loving atmosphere that creates a real home for the residents. This is no doubt due to the wonderful staff and the support from the caring, can-do community, with amazing volunteers giving their time and energy to make the family feeling of Woodhaven even more special to residents and loved ones.

It speaks for itself that Woodhaven is one of only five aged care facilities with a five-star rating in NSW – testament to the passion and dedication of the staff and wider community who do so much to care for residents.

Pictured with me celebrating the special event today are Kye Grentell and Tim O’Keeffe from builders ICG, Woodhaven general manager Lisa Krebser, Member for Riverina, Michael McCormack, the Mayor of Lockhart Shire, Cr Peter Sharp, Respect CEO Jason Binder and Elva Smallwood, Michael Smith, Dawn Smith, Caroline Ryan and Ruth Farrell.

Congratulations to all involved for delivering these amazing improvements to the beloved centre.
